in our veins
New York City blood in our veins – home is all over the World
Stern Stewart & Co. was founded in New York City in 1982 by Joel M. Stern and G. Bennett Stewart III, focusing on value-based management. After strong growth across the world from Latin America to Africa and Asia, it was the European office that evolved the brand to a broad strategy boutique that – once more – spread all over the world. However, the spirit of New York City still runs in our veins. Flat hierarchies and a can-do attitude are values that drive our success. The sky is the limit and things are always possible until proven otherwise.
Consulting from the center of gravity in an open universe of know how.
To truly advise, you need someone who gets the big picture. To master compexity, it is forbidden to get lost in the woods of specifity. The must: Standing - and therefore being able to think – genuinely out of the box.
It is no longer enough, to be the expert for one industry or topic. Embodying wide industry expertise with intensive project experience is key for innovative ideas. Rigourously independent thinking shapes our work.
And we dare to admit that the most advanced knowledge to the client’s specific problems is not necessarily within our very own company. But is found in our outstanding network of experts.
